The Electronic Entertainment Expo is coming around the corner and will be taking place in Los Angeles on June 10 through June 12. Each E3 brings forth the latest in gaming as well as announcements from the largest players in the industry such as Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo.

However this year Nintendo is mixing things up a bit and will instead do a live-streamed press conference focused on the people in attendance. This style event will be called "Nintendo Digital Event"[clever], they say this is a new format to display their next involvements in the upcoming years. They have also stated that there would be a tournament held in the Nokia Theater in LA and live demos at their booth.

Here's the best part apparently anyone can try out the new Super Smash Bros. at their local Best Buy and this event is being called "Smash-Fest". This is not only great for those who have been waiting for the game but a great way to showcase one of the best titles that Nintendo owns for their current platform and hopefully reach new sales. As we have previously mentioned Nintendo sales have been fluctuating up and down recently so this announcement/event plus the soon to be released Mario Kart 8 bundle can really bring Nintendo some decent sales[aka customers].

- New Fatal Frame may only see a release for the Wii U

According to Famitsu, Nintendo is working with Tecmo Koei Games for the next development of Fatal Frame. It was also said that it will be beyond just a game and include movies and novels to be released too. It hasn't been said if its a sequel but it most likely is just an iteration of the series.

It is also mentions that there will be a live-action film following as well.

- Bungie fires Marty O'Donnell 'without cause'

For more than a decade, Marty O’Donnell filled our worlds with unforgettable sounds and soundtracks, and left an indelible mark on our fans. Today, as friends, we say goodbye. We know that wherever his journey takes him, he will always have a bright and hopeful future.

We wish him luck in all his future endeavors.

However it seems things didn't end at good terms as David Dague suggested. In a tweet that came out on "April 15, 2014", Marty explains how Bungie's board of directors terminated him without cause on April 11, 2014.

Many are speculating that there is something going on behind the scenes at Bungie since it wasn't that long ago that Bungie separated ways with Joseph Staten, who wrote the majority of the Halo story.

- Galak-Z: The Dimensional is coming to PS4, P S Vita, and PC this summer

The PlayStation 4 version of Galak-Z: The Dimensional will come "Late summer to early fall," creator Jake Kazdal confirmed with Polygon. Following that will be a PlayStation Vita release and then a Windows PC version.

Galak-Z is a game where the player will take the role of a space fight pilot called A-Tak and navigate enemy infested generated environments. It brings back a classic feel to shooters we haven't seen in a while with a more up to date way to play which include the abilities to dash, strafe, juke and manoeuvre 360 degrees.

- GaymerX throws in the towel after only one con?

An official tweet recently came up from GaymerX stating that the loss in profits is the reason that this year will most likely be the last year they will ever do this con. GaymerX2 is the second time this con has been held and just after one year it seems they won't be able to do one next year let alone barely this year.

"Based on feedback that we've gotten, the new focus towards diversity in the industry and budget, GaymerX2 will be the final year for the con," the GaymerX account posted. It appears that the latter of those may be one of the biggest contributing factors; the account also tweeted that, "the size of our event and the amount of money we were losing to put it on became too much of a burden to keep at this pace."

They did confirm that it may not be gone forever but only time and this year's event will tell, as they replied to our tweet on twitter.
