- Analogue NT, the worst Nostalgic NES ever created (AKA RIP OFF)

Lately we always see new consoles but here comes a rather interesting idea, wouldn't we love to see an old console be revitalized. Analog NT does just that and redesigns the original concept of the NES; but let us explain why this one Retro Gaming System you should Pass on.

For years NES has brought more than just entertainment for everybody, it introduced many children to a new world and experience with amazing heroes, failures and stories. To anyone a redesign of this console would be pretty much the most amazing thing ever created but let me tell you why this isn't the one that you would be looking for.

Pretty much the main issue with this console is that it's literally just a NES in an aluminum body. The console doesn't include controllers or neither does it have any preloaded games. The highlight point is that it upscales to 720p or 1080p but honestly the blur in the game looks better than a giant pixelated screen. It includes OEM parts supposedly for the console which I highly doubt, but it's what they state. So what's wrong with it? Well it exchanges anything that brought Nostalgia to the original NES and personally it's like a plastic surgery; Full of Lies and down right disgusting.

I'm not here to just hate, but for that the cost ($500) they are pricing this you might as well as buy a Xi3 and download ROMs or a NES cartridge adapter. Either way you will be able to do more than just play NES and Favicom games. Finally let me tell you the honest opinion we have overall of this product, It's pretty much taking advantage of peoples Nostalgia, plus whoever would pay such a high price of $500 (Pretty much same as an iPad including the out aluminum shell. An iPads specs are also hundreds times better) is pretty much out of their mind. Why not just buy a  NES and refurbish it yourself? It will have more Nostalgia than this paper weight. Overall the cost for the production doesn't necessarily add up....

(Their controllers should get more praise, they are officially Refurbished with the original OEM parts)

- Nintendo Announces Price Cuts?

Beginning April 22, Nintendo will permanently cut the price on five of its stand-out 3DS games. Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Mario Kart 7 and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will all be $29.99, a 25 percent drop.

Whether it's related to making up the losses on the Wii U or trying to compete against Mobile Gaming, it still can't be stressed out enough that these are nonetheless amazing games. If you own a 3DS or dare we say it???.... A 2DS... and you don't own at least three of these games then you are missing out a lot! Go get them!

- Square Enix shuts down studio?

* = This means our sources for factual evidence, that's right we purchased some memberships, now working with freelance journalist to bring news even faster to you. We however cannot disclose most of our associated sources due to te5ms and agreements, please enjoy our articles.

After a year in entering the market, Square Enix shuts down its Indian operations without the release of a single game.

Square Enix India was set up to develop mobile games in the Indian market in collaboration with Indian Developers. While they didn't develop games themselves they had been working with several developers across India on multiple projects but none were green-lit by Square Enix HQ in Japan.

MCV tried contacting Atul Vibhandik, the now Ex-Vice President of Square Enix India but he refused to comment on the matter, although he did confirm Square Enix HQ had indeed decided to close its India operations.

The Square Enix India office had six employees which are all laid off now.

It is believed that the change in management at Square Enix HQ was the culprit especially since when Fukushima was in charged of management it had been stated that he didn't expect to see results until at least 3 years. Another thing that could be playing a large role is the fact that many of the projects presented weren't even green-lit because despite the lower end market they were aiming towards it still required to be up to par with Square Enix's other games.

- Dead Nation announced for PlayStation Vita coming later this April

Dead Nation is a Top-Down shooter that will be heading on the PlayStation April 15, and not only is it amazing but it's coming at a steal. Many of the issues in the past with handheld games was that they come at an expensive price when one can easily find a similar version of the game on a mobile device for a much smaller value. Dead Nation is coming out for $7.99 which sounds perfect since games like Call of Duty Zombies comes at $4.99 but graphically they are not in the same level and same goes for how it plays.

The game will feature Online and Ad-Hoc co-op, and not mention global leaderboards for those hardcore gamers who like leaving their mark of skills online. This game is very alike as it's PS4 counterpart expect that the PS4 version which includes the expansion pack which will also be available on the Vita for only $3.99 which isn't a bad deal.

- Microsoft praises Steam and says to expect to see Microsoft focusing more on PC

* = This means our sources for factual evidence, that's right we purchased some memberships, now working with freelance journalist to bring news even faster to you. We however cannot disclose most of our associated sources due to terms and agreements, please enjoy our articles.

Microsoft unveiled some pretty interesting things during GDC but something we didn't see coming was a praise to Steam.

During a panel at the Game Developers Conference Phil Spencer praised to Steam on what they have done for PC gaming over the years. "They've been the backbone of PC gaming for the last decade." said Spencer. "As a Windows company, I appreciate what they've done."

Later during the panel, Spencer stated that PC gamers can expect "more focus" from Microsoft in PC gaming in the time ahead. Spencer also quickly followed his response by stating that Microsoft doesn't plan to compete against Valve, but said "it's important to invest in [PC gaming] in a real way."

With Valve now taking on consoles with it's upcoming Steam Machines, Spencer simply commented that it made sense since Valve already has an established storefront and 65 million users.

At the end he wrapped things up saying we will see "tier-1" initiatives for PC gaming from Microsoft  beginning this summer, but did not specify what those things were.
