Microsoft as of late has been curiously pushing more and more towards embracing free-to-play, with a few games coming on 360. While Sony has already fully embraced this model and is aggressively pushing more free-to-play games on their systems, many which are successful Steam games. However, now after the first few games on the 360 were very successful it seems like Microsoft is now increasing its investment in the area by hinting towards bringing free-to-play games on the Xbox One.

Asked on Twitter if Microsoft had news to share on free-to-play, Spencer said this. *

Although Microsoft says it was a success on free-to-play, it is hard for anyone to agree as well when they haven't disclosed the actively spending money or player engagement on these games.

- Microsoft looking for Xbox One Beta Testers?

According to Major Nelson, Microsoft is looking for Xbox One Users who are interested in trying out features ahead of the update releases.

Starting Today a select few of Xbox One users will receive an invitation to try out the new Xbox One updates before the worldwide release. Microsoft may be doing this because of the recent incident where an update rolled out giving users a black screen. Microsoft's main intention is most likely to fix some bugs from the update they plan to roll out which includes significant improvements to the multiplayer and party experiences. The feedback given by these select Xbox Live users will be put in a private forum and will help improve and set forth what will come in the worldwide update release.
