- Steam Family sharing now available!

Steam Family Sharing, this is a service that allows users to share their Steam Library between multiple individuals and computers. This is now available to all Steam users which was announced by Valve today.

The service can be enabled for up to five Steam accounts to share one collection of games across as many as 10 different computers. In the Family Sharing program, Steam maintains game saves in the Steam Cloud as well as tracks achievements for each account.

Valve also stated that in order for players to access the libraries individuals have to be online, similar to the always on concept Microsoft had with the Xbox One but this time it's only for accessing other peoples games in your shared collection. They also said that no matter how many users you have even if it's 2-10, no two same users can play the same game at the same time, only the account holder is the person who can access their games when ever they want at all times.

This helps set up more foundations for Steam to take on consoles alongside your living room, what do you think?
